When your agency's named Wongdoody, people are gunna have a hard time.
To play off of this, Wongdoody used to feature a clickable exclamation point in their name on their site. Clicking it would bring up a different "mangle" or mispronunciation of the agency's name done up like a spoof ad.
Here's one I made while interning for them.
People like avoiding stuff. Sunflower seeds help that.
When my friend approached me with the line "a welcome distraction," I immediately thought of all the possibilities.
With no budget, few resources, and limited time, I came up with the idea of creating whimsical illustrations and a hand drawn spot that compliments the playful nature of sunflower seeds while also allowing us to run wild with ideas.
As a Brandcenter student in Mark Fenske's Creative Thinking class I was given assignments like making a movie poster about ice or writing a song about fish sticks.
What you see here was my approach to making, "a book with a frog in it." A simple children's book I wrote and illustrated about a sexual deviant exploring the world of fetishes (one of which happens to be about amphibians).
